September 2011
Sewaddle -> (lvl 20) Swadloon (fighting fisherman in desert before 3rd gym battle) -> (lvl 21) Leavanny (beat a Sandile, following the fisherman). Happiness in his group of siblings is apparently just as good as happiness with a trainer.
Terry left the group after a night of deep thought at the bar/cafe in Castelia City. He eventually returned to his trainer.
Mixed feelings on Team Plasma.
September the Yamask joined the party.
Burton evolves. Encounter with daycare man leads to forgiveness, and assistance in allowing Burton to evolve again.
Timburr - Male - Burton - Lonely Nature - Mischievous (Oldest) (Acting leader, having hands with thumbs)
Sigilyph - Male - SkekOk - Quirky Nature - Proud of his Power (Second Oldest)
Deino - Female - Jude - Naive Nature - Very finicky (Third Oldest)
Sewaddle - Male - Wallace - Lax Nature - Strongly defiant (Youngest)
———
Patrat - Male - Terry - Relaxed Nature - Often dozes off (I picture him being rather old, actually)

The story I have in mind is interesting to me, and I wish I could illustrate it… but drawing the same things over and over is rather taxing on my patience…
The first four (siblings, actually, by the same Ditto) have escaped from the Daycare Center, where they had been abandoned as eggs (there is an option where you can refuse to take an egg from the Day-Care Man). They meet up with a Patrat (Terry) who holds the first Gym Badge, having kept it when his trainer decided to abandon the pursuit of championship after his starter pokemon was injured during the gym battle, which had been attempted in a Nuzlocke style (I could only transfer the eggs over after the first gym battle, so they would not get to participate in it). Terry refused to go back to the wild or live in a pet-like setting, so he decided to attempt the Pokemon League challenge himself, something that is virtually unheard of, but is technically allowed by League rules. They all group up with the intention of proving that they don’t need a trainer to be the best (Blah blah blah…).
Terry will leave shortly after the second gym battle (maybe he is too old?), leaving them to continue the challenge (I only kept him in the party after transferring the eggs because I needed something to fall back on and to help train the newly hatched).

Posted mostly for my own use.
Even after being sick, I am managing my time too well, and have discovered that I have too much time on my hands. Therfore, I am going to attempt a pokemon challenge of sorts. Using a random number generator, I will find four Unova pokemon to keep in my party at all times during a play-through, which will be sent over as eggs after beating the first gym. They will never go into the PC. No matter how useless they may be, they will remain in the team. Even if they are all Patrats and Stunfisk (which I actually like…). They will replace my starter, which will not be used for the rest of the game (I’m just going to imagine that it never wanted to fight in the first place, and is enjoying spending time at home?).
Edit: Any pokemon that leaves the party (which cannot be one of the four hatched ones), cannot rejoin the party.
Time to find the numbers…

…
40, 139, 46, 67
So it looks like my party will start off with newly hatched…

Now if only I had other friends with interest in playing pokemon games…
She’s right you know. Never leave home without it.
Robin looks pleased at least.
Cheeky little bugger.
“Convert 3.36x10^8 lb/mile cubed to g/ml.”
… I can do this, I’m aware, but when on earth would I convert from cubed miles to milliliters outside of this problem?
